Sometimes we spend so much time asking God to change the people around us that we miss what He wants to change within us.

The greatest fight isn’t always against the person next to you. Sometimes it’s against the "pride, jealousy, bitterness, control, and desires" battling inside of us.

James reminds us that God gives grace to the humble. The answer isn’t to win the argument or prove our point—it’s to "surrender, draw near to God, and allow Him to change our hearts."

Because the goal isn’t just to stop being the problem. "The goal is to become more like Jesus."

What if instead of praying, "God, change them," we started praying, “God, search me.”

God has not called us to sit on the sidelines. There are battles we are called to face, moments where we have to choose obedience over comfort and faith over fear.

You may be facing a battle, but you are not facing it alone. "God has equipped you, strengthened you, and called you for such a time as this."
