Our greatest problem was sin, and our greatest need was a Savior. Ephesians 2 reminds us that we were once dead in our trespasses, unable to save ourselves or earn God's favor.
But God, because of His great love and rich mercy, made us alive together with Christ.
Salvation isn't something we earn. It's a gift of grace, received through faith. We aren't saved by good works, but we are saved for good works. A life changed by Jesus should be a life that reflects Him through obedience.
"Our salvation isn't a reward for what we've done. It's a reflection of what God has done for us."
We were dead, but God made us alive!
